I am really behind on this. Thanks to general stuff happening and the now infamous Tumblr crash this weekend…I am in catch up mode and hope to be in sync with everyone else by this weekend.

December 4 – Wonder.

How did you cultivate a sense of wonder in your life this year?

At my age, a sense of wonder is not necessarily something I experience much anymore. That being said..seeing a sense of wonder in my children is something that I enjoy.

I can see that sense of wonder kindled whenever my kids are working on homework, and something clicks. It is like a little light going on. You can literally see them “get it”.

I can see that sense of wonder whenever they have a new experience, one they have always heard about…but never lived. For example, when we took my son to his first Alabama football game, just sitting and watching the stadium fill up was fascinating to him.

I look forward to seeing many more of these WOW moments as both of my children continue to grow.
